3/4 to 3-3/4 inch shafts; 20–95 mm metric shafts
PSS Type A
A mechanical face seal for inboard shaft installations. A stainless rotor runs against a stationary carbon face. The bellows maintains contact as the shaft moves axially; two O-rings turn with the shaft inside the rotor.

The PSS principle.
- Mechanical sealing occurs at the carbon and stainless faces, rather than a lip rubbing on the shaft.
- Imperial and metric shaft options, with multiple stern tube fits.
- Established service parts and published installation guidance.
Every enquiry is checked against your actual shaft, stern tube and installation space. Request current pricing and availability from Luxfords.
